about

One of my favourite things about being in Moongazing Hare is the times where I am able to close my eyes, listen to my brother and my friends playing their instruments and feeling like I don't even have to be there at all, but still so proud that I get to be. We played a series of shows as a four-piece and the songs had really started to settle into certain shapes that we felt good about. We took the bus out to Holmen, the 18th century naval base now used by Copenhagen's Rhythic Music Conservatory, where Tanja set up a number of microphones, told us where to stand and recorded us. I think it was a cold Autumn day, with bright sun on the water outside. That is my feeling, but maybe it was raining, I honestly don't know. Maybe these weren't our greatest individual performances, but as a group, and on record, we have never sounded better than this, and we will never have to.

about

Moongazing Hare Copenhagen, Denmark

I try to keep myself warm, calm, loved and out of harm's way. The music is desperately home made and mostly well-intentioned.
